Our Mission: Advancing the cause of safe margins in the lives of the marginalized in our world.

About HG Clay Foundation

Mission Statement

H.G. Clay Foundation operates as a charitable trust in the state of Alabama. The purpose of the H.G. Clay Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for the marginalized of the world according to the express wishes of our founder, Mr. H.Gerrard Clay by providing grants and scholarships in partnership with organizations who focus on:
-Education
-Refugee Resettlement
-Organizations working to decrease Human Trafficking
-International Missions

The Foundation concentrates its resources in these four areas of concern.

We desire to “see the margins” of our world and move to bring people into safety for the purpose of human flourishing.
It can be described in the following acrostic:
E – Education
T – Transportation
H – Housing
O – Occupation
S – Safety

If the first four are in place, the fifth (safety) is possible, opening the way for human flourishing.
